Library Access

TPGC has developed a comprehensive access policy that ensures sustainable value creation for its members.

The flexible nature of the policy allows both the industry and academic TPGC members to dynamically choose the service levels – access to SNPs, candidate genes, pain panel, GWAS – that will provide the best fit for their research interests. As a result, the typical overall costs associated with cohort access and analysis incurred by an TPGC member can be dramatically lower than the costs associated with an independent study of a similar scale. The high-quality, systematic, in-depth guidance from Algynomics, CAB, and cohort knowledge leaders will provide for consistent quality control and reliable customer support.

Resources and Members' Benefits

TPGC resources include a large and growing repository of datasets related to human pain and pain co-morbid traits, with detailed phenotypic data, demographics and biospecimen (DNA, blood, saliva or tissue samples) available for genotyping and/or genotyping data.

TPGC provides its Members with genotyping, analytical and bioinformatic services, including SNP analysis and phenotypic association. Other consulting services are offered by Algynomics on study design, meta-analysis and functional genomics follow-up studies.

TPGC also creates a dedicated forum for leading pain researchers that work in the private sector, as well as in academic and governmental entities.
